This is a very hard plot to try to explain. In short, it deals with a nerdy girl (to be played by Zooey) who discovers a giant pink diamond with magical powers. She is then pursued by a nasty witch and her red ballons (think: the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz). Originally, Zooey and Jack wanted to get Drew Barrymore to play the witch, but now they are interested in Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. Jackson, who regularly performs in comedy shows and makes short films, will not be acting in the movie.
