Friday 9 November saw the release of Sense #21, earlier than expected,
with Fugazi gracing the cover and with inside stories about Tadpoles,
Spokane, Trembling Blue Stars, Sing-Sing, Denise James, v23 designer
Vaughan Oliver, The Winter Blanket, Mojave 3 and many many more.
The new issue is available in Vinyl Microstore - Didotou 34, Athens.
All apologies for the inevitable small rise of the cover price,
we still do our best so that anyone who wants one copy can have
one without actually thinking of its cost.

Next in the trail of our cd-r releases is the "Essence" compilation
(SENSE CD7) which is expected to be released around Christmas time,
as a gift to all our readers. On this 10-track compilation will
appear artists and bands who have been featured on past issues of
Sense, namely (in alphabetical order), Birddog, The Boys Star Library,
Calvin Don't Jump!, Paula Frazer, Marmoset, Grant-Lee Phillips,
Postblue, Alasdair Roberts, Tadpoles and Trembling Blue Stars (of
course). More details on the compilation will be posted here soon(ish).
In the meanwhile, Sense #21 is set to appear in Vinyl Microstore
on Tuesday the 13th... just to add a note of spookiness -- as if
the combination of Fugazi and Trembling Blue Stars was not enough!

We're very proud to feature Fugazi on the cover of Sense #21, coming
out in mid-November. The band has just released an amazing new album
and an explosive single, you can click here for more information.
Always into surprises, we shall not reveal what other features will
be on the next issue, but old readers can safely guess a Trembling
Blue Stars special, in the occasion of their exquisite new album
"Alive To Every Smile"!... Upcoming attractions include a brand
new face to this website really soon, as well as a new cdr release
towards the beginning of 2002.

September 17, 2001
Sense is happy to announce that a new compilation cdr has been scheduled
as a Christmas 2001 release, including songs from bands and artists
that have been covered on recent issues of "Sense". Originally planned
as a celebration giveaway compilation to mark the occasion of Sense's
20th issue, this idea had to be withdrawn and the release of the
cdr re-scheduled. We'll have more details soon!
In the meanwhile, we're preparing a new face to Sense's website,
well, yes, we know you've heard this all before, but hopefully,
this time it will be something really worthwhile!
And just in case, you've read somewhere that Sense will make you
laugh big time, well,it's true! We're happy that some of you recognise
what Sense is all about. It's just that sometimes we write a few
bits about music, because too much laughter may harm your health!
Cheers!

and unforgettable music. We also want to thank you for all your
positive feedback about our Kristin Hersh issue, we always like
to hear nice things!... It's all this amazing response from you
that motivates us, and we've come to reach our 20th issue this autumn.
Yes, Sense #20 is near completion and is expected to appear at the
usual spots around September 10th. For the younger ones, it will
be a must for your first day at school!
Featuring psycho-pop heros Super Furry Animals on the cover, the
new issue is again 4-pages bigger and features all the latest things
we happened to hear lately and that fascinated us or affected us
deeply.

a big step forward, but we're about to try something new and make
a decent web-site out of this one with proper updates and interesting
things to read!

update since it was first aired, but we know you understand! Instead,
there's a new issue almost ready on the way! Sense #19 will appear
very very soon, including a surprise. Watch this space for details.

May 31, 2001
Sense #18 is already old news, apologies for this site being inactive
for so long. This time there was a reason (expect for us being lazy,
that is) which has to do with computers and is boring so we're going
to spare you. Let's just say that Sense #18 features Low on the
cover and inside stories about The Olivia Tremor Control, Postblue,
Pixies, Alasdair Roberts and many many more. Sense #19 will appear
in early July and there's a surprise for you there!... Watch this
space for more details soon(ish)!
