| Hi, just a brief update from Red Atkins who is now back on the writing and recording scene all due to Fedge who took such an interest in my recording of Hunk of a Punk on the 4AD label, which I have now re-recorded along with two other songs plus the original track of the Hunk done 25 years ago. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun! I'm back in the studio this month on November 18th to record more songs to send to various publishers and record labels. I'm writing mostly country and western songs at the moment with the odd rock and roll number as well. I'm very grateful for all the 4AD fans who are buying my latest CD of the Hunk ect and once this batch of CD's are sold and there is still interest out there I will get another lot pressed. I must also thank my daughter Jo (she did the artwork on the CD) who started the ball rolling last year on her computer then Fedge took it further. Many thanks to all who love the CD and for bringing the Hunk back to life again, Love and regards to all from Red Atkins. |
