"Sin City" was a change from the everyday movies I see. While "The Upside Of Anger", another new release, had good elements, a great movie it was not. "Sin City", for what Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino were going for, did an amazing job. The actors, from Bruce Willis to that Gilmore Girls' cutie Alexis Bledel did a real charismatic bang-up job. This was a comic book movie in the truest sense - it felt like a movie version of a B/W pulp comic. Very fun movie! This movie DESERVES its R-rating though. It, along with "Hostage" (also with Willis) and "Assault On Precinct 13" are the most violent mainstream Hollywood movies of 2005 and it's barely four months into the year as I write this. Yikes!
