Directed by Stephen Sommers, the man who gave us the series of "The Mummy" movies starring Brendan Fraser, brings us a highly computer generated story of a vampire hunter (Hugh Jackman) who is sent to Transylvania to stop Count Dracula who is using Dr. Frankenstein's research and a werewolf for some sinister purpose. Also starring the lovely Kate Beckinsale, "Van Helsing" might be exciting for kids but had me looking at my watch right from the get go.
