LOST AND DELERIOUS

Directed by Canadian Léa Pool in Montreal, "Lost And Delerious" (2001) stars rising Hollywoodd stars Piper Perabo, Jessica Paré and Mischa Barton as three girls attending a boarding school. A newcomer to the boarding school (Barton) is befriended by her two new roommates (Perabo and Paré), and later discovers they are lovers. When Paré decides she doesn't dare continue the relationship, the Perabo character becomes desperate in her attempts to win her back. Verging on corny material at times, "Lost And Delerious" succeeds at presenting a genuine story with three great leads and enough uniqueness to make it worth a rental on a night when you're into something off the beaten path.
