ENOUGH

Released: May 24, 2002

Director Michael Apted used to maked good films. "Coal Miner's Daughter", "Gorky Park", "Thunderheart" and "Nell" are among them. Now he hacks out passable James Bond movies ("The World Is Not Enough") and just plain bad Jennifer Lopez vehicles like "Enough". Essentially a remake of "Sleeping With The Enemy" that Julia Roberts made watchable in 1991, Lopez goes through the motions in a rather humorously bad movie about a mean-assed husband that beats the crap out of her character until she finally says "enough!". Other decent actors that sadly appear here are Juliette Lewis and Fred Ward. Not only is this a piece of crap, I feel ripped off and I didn't even pay to see it!
