Natalie Portman (not her real last name film fans) is a pregnant 17-year-old who rebuilds her life after being abandoned by her boyfriend at a Wal-Mart. She ultimately gives birth to her baby in the mega department store and the rest of the film is devoted to her meetings with a variety of quirky folk in small town America that seem to populate movies like this. Ashley Judd co-stars but some of the funniest moments are definitely owned by Sally Field as Portman's flighty Mother.
