Adam Sandler plays the spawn of Satan yet still embodies the same character traits as all the previous characters he's played so far - the good natured yet shy and clumsy underdog. Despite the amazing potential Sandler brings to these roles I do believe there is a serious dramatic actor hiding inside waiting to purge all his dick and fart joke movies out of his system. This is not a great movie but it is damn funny. Great support from a variety of his SNL buddies including fine performances as Satan by Harvey Keitel, Sandler's love interest Patricia Arquette and "Notting Hill" vet (Hugh Grant's rommmate) Rhys Ifans.
