A British mystery author (Charlotte Rampling) visits her publisher's (Charles Dance) home in the South of France, where her interaction with his young daughter (Ludivine Sagnier) provides for annoyances followed by awkward mystery. You have to watch "Swimming Pool" carefully to catch the twists and mystery unspool. However, as there's so much nudity and sex the movie felt more like a softcore porn and all my interest in the mystery aspect was diverted to... other areas.
