SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE

Released: December 12, 2003

Film legends Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton team up, for the first time since 1981's "Reds", in this amusing take of aging and romance. Keanu Reeves plays a doctor caring for a man (Nicholson), who suffers a heart attack at the house of his young girlfriend's mother (Keaton). Amanda Peet plays Nicholson's younger lover but things change as the film goes and we see both Reeves and Nicholson falling for Keaton. While the film was a tad too long, the acting performances from Nicholson, Keaton, Reeves and Peet make it well worth seeing. Also starring in small but nicely handled smaller roles are Frances McDormand, Jon Favreau and Rachel Ticotin.
