A LOVE SONG FOR BOBBY LONG

Just an all-out good film. This is the quality work that actor John Travolta does inbetween his mainstream films like "Ladder 49" and "Be Cool". The whole cast, including a striking Scarlett Johansson and Gabriel Macht as the main players with Travolta are amazing here. Johansson plays a young woman returns to New Orleans after the death of her estranged mother only to find Travolta and Macht have taken up residence in her house. What results is best left unsaid. Like I said, this is just one damn fine film. It's also the first film from new director Shainee Gabel, who shows amazing potential for her future films. Track this one down on DVD!
