U.S. soldiers stationed in West Germany just before the fall of the Berlin wall find themselves a tad bored without any real fighting going on and take up racketeering and other illegal "hobbies". Like a "Sgt. Bilko" on steroids, this barely seen effort starring Joaquin Phoenix as the lead troublemaker is well worth hunting down for rental. Also starring Ed Harris, Scott Glenn, Anna Paquin and Elizabeth McGovern as interesting characters that help make this a fun ride.
