Now, this could have really bit the big one. However, we are given an energetic cast and funny scenes that gives the audience a perfect mindless comedy to laugh and hoot over. A mother and daughter con team seduce and scam wealthy men. The mother, played to a tee by Sigourney Weaver, is ruthless at the game of conning rich guy after rich guy. Rounding out the team is the equally ruthless daughter played by Jennifer Love Hewitt. Ray Liotta, Jason Lee and Gene Hackman are just the most recent men to wander into their scheming traps. It is a little long (over 2 hours) but it was funny and I left the theatre feeling quite good. Worth seeing alone for Love Hewitt's attempts to fit into some of the smallest outfits possible...
