Director Mark S. Waters reunites with his "Freaky Friday" star Lindsay Lohan in this smarter than the average teen movie. The screenplay was written by Tiny Fey of "Saturday Night Live" and she injects a nice dose of intelligence to the proceedings but overall it comes off as a "Ten Things I Hate About You" wannabe. It does try though - and it did have some funny bits that helped move things along. The rest of the cast (including Fey) such as Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert add a positive energy to otherwise standard stuff.
