An enjoyable yarn as only Tim Burton could create. Visually marvelous, the film stars the perfectly cast Ewan McGregor as young Edward Bloom and Albert Finney as the older version of the character. Billy Crudup plays Bloom's grown son while Alison Lohman and Jessica Lange play Bloom's young and adult wife respectively. These main characters are amazing to watch in "Big Fish". So too is the supporting cast. Helena Bonham Carter, Robert Guillaume, Steve Buscemi and Danny DeVito are all nicely cast in smaller but equally fun roles. While not Burton's best film, it certainly is worth checking out...
