Naomi Watts, Peter Krause, Mark Ruffalo and Laura Dern starred in another 2004 film about infidelity among married couples called "We Don't Live Here Anymore". "Closer", from director Mike Nichols, stars Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Julia Roberts and Clive Owen. Essentially it's like an A-list actors version of the earlier film. The actors are as beautiful as the ones in "We Don't Live Here" but guess which ones are getting the $20 million payday and which are not. Beautiful people getting all heartbroken in depressing "relationship" movies - the surefire way to kill any hope remaining in a typical movie watcher.
