A young Jewish man develops a fiercely anti-Semitic worldview and becomes a Nazi. Canadian Ryan Gosling (star of the Sandra Bullock crime vehicle "Murder By Numbers") stars as Danny Balint, the leader of a US Nazi group while hiding his Jewish background. Trying to play both sides, Balint is torn apart inside. Comparisons to Edward Norton in "American History X" are inevitable but this film stands on its own as a glimpse of the darkside of someone who lost his way in the most confusing of ways.
