The long awaited Eddie Murphy / Robert De Niro collaboration received discouraging reviews upon release and quickly bombed. Habing had a chance to see this on DVD long after the release anti-hype, I can safely say that this comedy spoof of buddy cop movies where two very different cops are forced to team up on a new reality based TV cop show is not all that bad. In fact, I laughed regularly through this Tom Dey ("Shanghai Noon" 2000) directed flick which co-stars Rene Russo and William Shatner.
