A mob mix-up in Chicago sends two chanteuses screaming for L.A., where they score a perfect gig: posing as drag queens on the dinner theater/cabaret circuit. Things get extra-weird when a guy falls for one of the girls. Nia Vardalos, who wrote and achieved great success with her "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" theatrical debut, tries to duplicate her success here - but comess up short. While not exactly compelling, the on screen appeal of Vardalos and Toni Collette helped me get through the predictable storyline.
