Director Keenen Ivory Wayans fashions a parody of modern horror films about a group of teenagers who are being terrorised by a serial killer. Some of the send-ups include: "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project", "The Sixth Sense" and "The Matrix". While not essential movie viewing, it is definitely amusing and worth a look. Only rated R, I was amazed at how far Wayans pushed the envelope. This could easily have been given an NC-17 rating with its graphic sexual related scenes alone. not even factoring in the violence aspects. Fun stuff overall, but not likely to make much sense if you haven't seen the movies being parodied. From the same studio that gave us "Scream" - a wise move financially indeed!
