It's a Denzel Washington movie for sure but while this race related story is important and historic it ain't no "Malcolm X". This is a "let's get the blacks and whites to get along" movie from the Walt Disney studios. Like "The Hurricane", large details were altered or deleted. As for a feel-good movie, I suppose it's OK but since it's so Disney-ified it makes people feel good over things that didn't really happen, or at least not as big as they did in real life. Oh ya, the framework for the race story is set on the football field, lots of good bone crushing football action...
