Peter Weir's new movie is not as accessable as "Pirates Of The Carribean" but thankfully it isn't trying to be. For a fine, artistic and thoughtful movie about Ship Surgeon Stephen Maturin (Paul Bettany) and Navy Captain Jack Aubrey (Russell Crowe) sailing out to see the richness and strangeness of life on the far side of the world, against the backdrop of Napoleonic Wars, well, you can do no better than Mr. Weir's fine film.
