CATCH THAT KID

Remember Jodie Foster's daughter in "Panic Room"? We all thought she was a boy due to her androgynous features but hey, go figure. She (Kristen Stewart) gets first billing in this attempt to eek out some revenue from the "Cody Banks"/"Spy Kids" genre of young spy type movies. It's hard to endorse a film that more or less illustrates that it's OK to rob a bank to pay for your dying father's life-saving operation. On the other hand, it's a stinging indictment of the American health care system. Jennifer Beals and Sam Robards also star in this misguided film that apparently was a remake of some obscure Danish film.
