Not sure how accurate is it to the spirit of Greek mythology but it was a so-so movie experience. Brad Pitt is good but the "Lord Of The Rings" CG effects distracted away from the story. It tried to be a "Gladiator" styled Ridley Scott epic but just didn't have the power punch behind it to keep me going. The girl they picked to play Helen of Troy (former model Diane Kruger), however, could indeed sail my ship a thousand times. Not nearly up to director Wolfgang Petersen high standards but marginally better than his ocean disaster epic "The Perfect Storm".
