Richard Donner, a director whom we KNOW can deliver the goods helming a picture, waited five years after "Lethal Weapon 4" to tackle this, his eagerly awaited time travel film. Was it worth the wait? Certainly the concept was interesting. But the resulting adventure in 14th century France is about as cold and lifeless and 14 hour old French fries. An assorted batch of B actors star, so no one major had their career hurt, aside from Donner, who should be making much better films than this...
