Actor/director Zach Braff delivers "Garden State", an ode to his home state of New Jersey. Braff plays an Los Angeles actor who returns to New Jersey for his mother's funeral. While home he deals with his relationship to his father (Ian Holm) which has become strained. The one bright spot of his trip is meeting a girl (Natalie Portman).
