This is not great art. This is not even a great Saturday Night Live movie. But let's put it this way - for 90 minutes in a dark room IT WAS FUNNY. Will it hold up and still be funny in 50 years? Tim Meadows, in his first SNL offshoot movie, plays for laughs and gets them in this largely stupid story. Serious film fans will say this is a piece of crap but people open enough to laugh at something humorous will find it funny. It may not be up to "Wayne's World" quality (or even up to "A Night At the Roxbury"), but it IS a fun ride. Directed by Reginald "House Party" Hudlin.
