Actor-turned-director Peter Berg's second film (after 1998's "Very Bad Things") is an all out action rollercoaster ride that, while not very memorable, is pretty fun to watch. Starring The Rock, Seann William Scott and Rosario Dawson, the film gains even more points for adding Christopher Walken to the mix. That alone can improve any film ("Joe Dirt" and "Excess Baggage" for example). Arnold Schwarzenegger has a brief cameo at the start of the film where he passes The Rock in a nightclub and says "Have fun!", as if passing on the baton to this generation's new action hero, And The Rock could be up for the job based on "The Rundown". We really don't have any other options for action heros aside from Vin Diesel... While I enjoyed this movie, I'd rank it just slightly better than "Very Bad Things". Decent rental on a rainy day...
