Any movie that gives step-by-step instructions on how to dismember someone you've just killed and destroy the body parts by feeding them to starving pigs has got to be worth your time. Directed by Guy Ritchie (who gave us the tour de farce "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels"), this is an ultra violent peek at a group of diverse characters best described as bottom feeders who all seem to converge in the quest for a big honkin' diamond. Brad Pitt continues to show himself to be a dynamic character actor and not a typical Holywood pretty boy while his co-stars all shine. Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Farina and Jason Statham among others star in this huge cast that brings this movie to a rousing fever pace that never lets up until the end credits roll. It's a rollercoaster ride through the desperate world of blood, guts, greed and fear but since it's a movie you leave the theatre pumped up rather then about to become a pig's lunch.
