HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS

Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) ignores warnings not to return to Hogwarts, only to find the school plagued by a series of mysterious attacks and a strange voice haunting him. Ruper Grint (Ron) and Emma Watson (Hermione) return to this second movie version of the very rich J.K. Rowling's famous wizard character's adventures. I actually enjoyed the sequel more than the first movie, "Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone". Many of the characters are back, including the late great Richard Harris as Albus Dumbledore. Kenneth Branagh gets a whole new audience of young people with his popular Gilderoy Lockhart character as well. Like the first movie, this is over 2 and a half hours long but hardly feels like it at all. It's a fun ride that is sure to please the kids as well as their parents.
