Dennis Quaid plays a middle-aged ad exec faced with a new boss who's nearly half his age ...and who also happens to be sleeping with his daughter. This is simply just a rare really good movie that is about characters and their story, without a trace of special effects. It leaves a smile on your face after viewing in fact. The cast is fantastic. Along with Quaid is Topher Grace, Scarlett Johansson, Marg Helgenberger, David Paymer, Philip Baker Hall and Selma Blair. Directed by Paul Weitz with producing duties from brother Chris, both of whom brought us the "American Pie" trilogy and "About A Boy". A jaded movie fan needs a movie like this once in a while - a movie where the actors, story and message are all woven together seamlessly - with the warmth of a heart inside as well.
