"Monster's Ball" director Marc Forster returns with a much lighter tale, though still retaining a dark side. The movie details the experiences of 'Peter Pan' author J.M. Barrie, which lead him to write the children's classic. Johnny Depp plats Barrie, and he does so with the skill he brings to all his roles. The supporting cast is perfect but never attempts to steal scenes, rather simply providing great support. Kate Winslet, Julie Christie, Radha Mitchell and Dustin Hoffman also star. While the movie flows almost too quickly to truly connect, I really enjoyed it and only wished it was more detailed and less rushed in telling Barrie's story.
