The Coen brothers get a chance to make "Blood Simple" Y2K compliant by releasing the director's cut to theatres with "all the boring parts edited out" and featuring "Ultra Ultra Sound (a Lucas process)" to spice up the already fine movie it is. It's as chilling as it was back in 1985 and provides a nice stop gap before the Coen's unleash their next new feature in 2001.
