Rob Cohen, director the "The Fast And The Furious" opted not to direct this sequel. John Singleton, of all people, took over and Cohen started work on "XXX". The star of "Furious" part one, Vin Diesel, also isn't around in the sequel, following Cohen to "XXX". Paul Walker, who hasn't attained enough power to pick and choose projects is back for another round as Officer O'Conner, stripped of his badge after part one's hi-jinx, is recruited to infiltrate the Miami street racing circuit in an effort to redeem himself. That's when I lost interest in the film. Nice DVD though, good for showing off your home theatre system. If you don't have a home theatre system then you don't need "2 Fast 2 Furious".
