This is hardly as bad as the "critics" have damned it to be. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are fine here and director Martin Brest ("Scent Of A Women") merely needed to fix the pacing and cut about 30 minutes off the running time. The first hour was a bit stilted in terms of pacing but by hour two, I was laughing out loud. Sure, it's formula fluff, but surely not as bad as some of the stuff that gets dumped direct to video.
