FAHRENHEIT 9/11

Released: June 25, 2004

Michael Moore may have his detractors in all corners but overall, he has something to say and it scares the powers that be. That can only be a good thing. This is Moore's followup to "Bowling For Columbine" and it's a little different in that it features less of Moore on screen and relies primarily on archived news footage. Critics will argue Moore spins the footage to his own devilish agenda. But he doesn't have to spin to show what the footage says loud and clear - that the US is a scary place to live, maybe scarier than Iraq ever was! The audience I saw this film with was a noon screening on opening day. The crowd stood up at the end and applauded. Now if only we could get a Canadian version to expose the corruption and lies of the Liberal party...
