A cop movie set in a small Texas town plays like a cinematic version of the "Cops" TV show - but in a good way. Seemingly out of nowhere comes this indie sleeper from an equally out of nowhere director, Joseph Pierson. The two lead cops, played by Bill Sage and Bill Dawes, are both professional yet selectively casual in their police work. Consider this a "ride-a-long" with these two officers as they encounter some of the criminal element. It's a gritty, well-acted and directed with the force of a good director.
