LAST CASTLE, THE

Released: October 19, 2001

A Court Martialed general (Robert Redford) rallies together 1200 inmates to rise against the system that put him away. The gruff wardon is played by TV's main Soprano James Gandolfini, who does a good job playing a different character than the one we've grown to love on his HBO gangster series. Redford does a fine job as the disgraced general searching for redemption. Directed by Rod Lurie, who gave us "The Contender" from 2000, well worth searching out if you haven't seen it... Also starring Delroy Lindo.
