Directed by Scott Kalvert who gave us the much better "The Basketball Diaries" (1995), this flick stars Stephen Dorff, Brad Renfro, Fairuza Balk and Matt Dillon. If it seems like you've seen this plot before it's because it's been done quite a lot recently. Not exactly one of 2002's more memorable cinematic offerings but worth seeing if nothing else happens to be on your viewing aganda.
