15 MINUTES

Released: March 9, 2001

Written and directed by John Herzfeld, who gave us "Two Days In The Valley" a few years back, he bills "15 Minutes" as a satire on sensationalistic media. However, what we have here is a typical Robert DeNiro action movie on par with "Ronin". Edward Burns (who the hell is he anyways?) and Kesley Grammer waste away their talents and Herzfeld's discovery in "Two Days" Charlize Theron gives an unbilled cameo as a whore. Nice work. You'd get better satire sitting on a tire. Sheesh.
